Privacy Policy

Template, not legal advice. This describes how Bidcliq Academy actually handles data today, but it must be reviewed by counsel before any public launch.

What we collect

If you create an account, we store your email address and the data you generate in the product: the supply-chain audits you run, your lesson progress, and your practice results. If you use the product without an account, audits are not tied to you.

Audits operate on publicly published files (a domain's ads.txt and SSPs' sellers.json). The Inspect tool loads a public URL you provide in a headless browser and reads its ad-tech configuration. We do not collect personal data about the visitors of the sites you audit or inspect.

Why we collect it

To run the service: to save your audits and progress, to authenticate you, and to operate and improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We rely on a small number of processors to run the service:

  • Supabase, for authentication and database storage (your email, audits, and progress).
  • Anthropic, when you use an AI feature (briefings, explanations, the debug diagnoser). The relevant audit-derived text is sent to generate the response; it is not used to train models.
  • Microsoft Clarity, for product analytics: how the interface is used (clicks, scrolls, session replays), so we can improve it. Clarity is not used for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which sets cookies to record how the interface is used so we can improve it. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Where the GDPR applies, analytics like Clarity should be gated behind consent.

Public profiles and the talent directory

Your profile is private by default. If you choose to make it public, your display name, headline, bio, earned skills and badges, and (only if you mark yourself open to work) your contact become visible on your profile page and in the talent directory, so people hiring can discover you. We never make a profile public without you opting in, and we do not publish the email your account was created with. You can turn this off at any time in profile settings.

Your choices

You can sign out, and you can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Where the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA applies, you have the corresponding rights of access, correction, and deletion.
